1.Alligator Gar, Trinity River – North America

Jeremy Wade is a professional fisherman and television presenter who is best known for his work on the Discovery Channel show River Monsters. In 2011, he made headlines when he caught an alligator gar in the Trinity River in North America. This massive fish measured over 7 feet long and weighed in at over 400 pounds. While alligator gars are not typically considered to be dangerous to humans, they are apex predators that can pose a threat to smaller animals. In fact, these fish have been known to eat creatures as large as deer or even crocodiles. Thankfully, Jeremy Wade was able to safely land this massive fish and release it back into the river.
