Joe Rogan Amy Schumer controversy explained: Amy Schumer recently expressed her annoyance with the Academy Awards producers. This year’s hosts were Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes, with Amy Schumer as the host. On social media, Schumer aired her concerns.
She took to Twitter, saying: “The hypocrisy of the Academy is palpable. She was not allowed to make certain remarks, but Smith was permitted to accept the best actor Oscar despite having slapped comedian Chris Rock during the live broadcast.”
The actress was not permitted to mock podcaster Joe Rogan, veteran actor Alec Baldwin, and former Oscars host/actor/alleged pervert James Franco during the show, according to reports. The star was said to have cracked jokes about all three people but was unable to complete them owing to Amy’s fury.
also, during that night, Amy Schumer was in attendance. Unfortunately, what should have been a happy occasion quickly turned scandalous when it was revealed that several presenters had used racial slurs during the show. Schumer must have felt betrayed and disappointed, not only because of the offensive language that was used but also because she was surrounded by people who thought it was acceptable. It’s possible that Schumer felt like she didn’t belong at the Oscars and that she didn’t fit in with Hollywood’s elite. Thankfully, she spoke out against the scandal and made it clear that racism has no place in the entertainment industry.
